US SIDE FREIGHT CHARGES may include but not limited to:
a. Destination Charges
- Brokerage – Part of Customs Clearance Fees (costs for hiring a customs broker to manage the clearance process).
- Doc Fee – Likely falls under Customs Clearance Fees or Delivery Order Fee, depending on its context.
- ISF (Importer Security Filing) – This is a customs-related charge in the U.S., often filed before the goods arrive, but it might be billed under Customs Clearance Fees.
- Single ISF Bond – A bond fee tied to the ISF filing, falling under Customs Duties and Taxes or Customs Clearance Fees.
- Duty and Bond – Clearly part of Customs Duties and Taxes (import duties and associated bonds).
b. Inland Transportation and Handling Charges
- Trucking + Toll Fee per cntr – Part of Inland Transportation Costs (cost to move the goods to the final delivery point).
- Chassis Minimum (3 days) – This fee falls under Container Demurrage or Detention Charges if the chassis is not returned within the allowable time frame.
- Chassis Split (if needed) – Related to Inland Transportation Costs, incurred when a container requires additional movement or split logistics.
- Pre-pull per cntr (if needed) – A specific type of inland transportation fee when a container is moved to a yard before final delivery.
c. Storage and Handling Charges
- Yard Storage – Part of Storage Fees at the port or an off-site storage facility.
- Surcharges for Storage Facility Delivery – Falls under Inland Transportation Costs or Storage Fees, depending on its application.
d. Dock-Specific and Delivery Conditions
- Dock-to-Dock Business Location Only – Likely a limitation or condition tied to Inland Transportation Costs, specifying the delivery must be dock-to-dock (not curbside or inside delivery).
- Miscellaneous and Receipted Charges
- Receipted Charges – These are general reimbursable costs with receipts provided, which may span multiple categories (e.g., customs fees, transportation costs, or other surcharges).
e. Additional Notes
- ISF and Single ISF Bond: These are very specific to U.S. customs and might not apply universally in FOB agreements but are often grouped under customs-related charges.
- Chassis Fees and Pre-pull: These are more specific to containerized shipments and fall under logistics-related costs rather than the broader "port charges" category.
